ANTHEA

Hello there! I’m Anthea, the founder and head coach here at Thrive.

My passion lies in building genuine connections and creating a space where women can build a genuine love for training and create habits that support them for life.

My fitness journey began at a young age, diving headfirst into the fat loss craze as many women do. After running myself into the ground chasing an unsustainable level of leanness, losing my cycle for two years, and navigating extensive body image challenges, I began to realise how important the broader picture of health truly was.

That experience completely shifted my perspective. Leaning into performance and properly fuelling my body gave me a whole new appreciation for what it was capable of, reshaping my relationship with training and sparking a deep interest in women’s health, strength training, and long-term sustainability which is what led me become a coach over 8 years ago.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science, over a decade of lifting experience, and a background in both bodybuilding and powerlifting, my coaching approach has been shaped through years of coaching women both in person and online while creating the kind of training environment I always wished existed for women.

Over time, I’ve refined a coaching style that prioritises sustainability, mindset, behaviour, and lifestyle, alongside the goals of building muscle, improving body composition, and getting strong. My aim is to create meaningful, lasting change that enhances your life.

I want you to fall in love with your training, feel confident in your body, and build a strong, healthy relationship with both the gym and yourself.

Welcome to Thrive.

ZOE

My name is Zoe, I’m a women’s online and face to face coach with a passion for nutrition, body image and strength training.

My mission is to guide women to step into their most confident self through a collaborative coaching approach that meets you where you’re at.

Since a young age, I’ve always had a love for nutrition and food. Growing up as a competitive gymnast and being exposed to the pressures of a body focused sport, I struggled with under fuelling, body image and a restrictive relationship with food.

My health declining and the loss of my period led to a transformative journey of restoring a healthy menstrual cycle and healing my relationship with food - and this completely changed my life. I learnt how valuable it is to train to be strong and fuel my body, but also to view health from a more holistic perspective.

Now as a PT and studying to be a dietitian, I’m passionate about guiding other women to experience the freedom that comes from an evidence based and sustainable approach.

I believe you can achieve your body composition and strength goals while supporting your relationship with food and body image - and that it can fit into a lifestyle you genuinely love.

By understanding and working with your body, not against it, you can see incredible progress without it consuming your life.

I cannot wait to meet and connect with you!
